BLUEGRASS PARK DAMAGED

A tornado wiped out Fairel and Faye Pierce's home, festival stage, bathouse, cabins, guest house, campers and most of the timber that made up the bluegrass park. They had no insurance and lost everything. If you would like to help, send a donation to:

A clean-up day earlier this month only touched the tip of the iceberg for what needs to be done. They have to clean up the mess before they can begin rebuilding. We will keep you informed as plans go forward to rebuild this park. If you can help in an area that you know they will need, contact Jennie Buell ~ jbuell@tcworks.net and coordinate your ideas with her. Let us know if you can participate in a work day so we can get that information to you.

STOLEN GUITAR

On April 14th or 15th, someone stole Robert Pippin's Martin D-28 guitar from his car. The serial # is 430278. Please jot down this serial number and keep an eye out for this guitar. Contact Robert Pippin at 918-740-5441.

A REMINDER

The GCBA Board meeting and the General Membership Meeting are held throughout the year. Although there is no monthly show in June, July, and August, the monthly meetings in Owasso still go on, and jammin' is still in full swing at both meeings. So if you feel like some pickin' on the last Thursday and Friday of ANY MONTH, come on out to the meetings. There's plenty of free parking, free admission, and jammin' for all skill levels.
